Blind teacher needs braille equipment for students
Donation protected
Shai Wolman is a teacher for visually impaired students ages 8 to 15 and was born blind himself. Braille devices are very costly reaching $8,000 for a single device and many districts do not have the funds to purchase them for teachers like Shai. He is extremely independent but struggles to support himself on a teachers salary as the daily use of ride share platforms and various braille devices take a heavy toll on his budget.
Therefore, we are raising money to help Shai purchase the much needed equipment and assist with the costly transportation to work so he may continue to teach his young students to the best of his capabilities. Your donation will have such a positive impact on his students and their daily academics. Any donation will be greatly cherished and appreciated. We sincerely thank you for your time and consideration.
