Help Blind Joel Wallace Get Eye Surgery

Hello my name is Joel Covender aka Blind Joel Wallace. I am a musician and comedian based out of North East Ohio. When i was 10 years old i was diagnosed with a genetic condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa that would inevitably cause me to slowly lose my vision. I've worn glasses since i was a toddler and now at 30 years old i have lost all of my peripheral vision and a lot of clarity in the center. My central vision is currently clouded with bad cataracts. Unfortunately as of now there is no treatment for RP, but there IS a a treatment for the cataracts, and that is why i am asking for help. I recently had a consultation with an eye surgeon and was told that they could fix the cataracts and completely fix my astigmatism to where i wouldn't need to wear glasses anymore! RP will still eventually take my vision but while i have some left i could have clarity and the comfort of not having glasses on my face to see.
