Hello, my name is Blessing Bolaji Ujukwu, and I am reaching out for your support to complete my Nursing and Patient Care degree at Semmelweis University, Hungary.

My journey has been anything but easy. I originally left Nigeria to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor in Ukraine, studying medicine with the hope of one day saving lives. But when war broke out, my life took a devastating turn. I was forced to flee Ukraine, leaving behind my education, my dreams, and the life I had built.

Despite the heartbreak and uncertainty, I refused to give up. I was fortunate to be accepted at Semmelweis University, one of Hungary’s top medical institutions, where I could continue my education in Nursing and Patient Care. I have worked incredibly hard, maintaining a GPA between 4.38 and 4.58 every semester, and I have completed all my credit requirements. However, financial difficulties are now threatening to bring my dreams to an end.

URGENT: I Need to Pay €9,900 ($10,700) by the End of March

Right now, I am facing an urgent financial deadline. I need to raise €9,900 ($10,700 USD) by the end of March to cover unpaid tuition from previous semesters. If I don’t pay this amount, I won’t be able to continue my studies or graduate.

In total, I need €17,600 ($19,500 USD) to complete my degree, which includes:

   •   €9,900 – Immediate tuition debt (due by end of March)

   •   €7,700 – Tuition for my final year

I Am Doing Everything I Can, But I Need Your Help

Since arriving in Hungary, I have been working three to four jobs just to survive—balancing work, studies, and financial struggles on my own. I have applied for financial aid and sought help wherever possible, but it is still not enough. To make things even more difficult, I lost my mom who is my main support compounding this present predicament.

I have fought so hard to come this far, but now I am at risk of losing everything. This GoFundMe is my last hope to complete my degree and fulfill my dream of serving others as a healthcare professional.
