Hi, I'm Jennifer Almond Milam, and I'm raising funds for my longtime friend, Jerryd Bron Clyburn. By longtime, I mean over 50 years. Folks from the MacArthur area, or from the Church of God family, will know him as the youngest son of Otis & Geneva Clyburn. His beautiful wife, Amanda Pegram Clyburn, became a friend soon after they married.

Jerryd has serious health challenges that will limit his ability to work for awhile & will require extensive medical care. Please contribute what you can and please lift the Clyburn family up in prayer.

On April 9, Jerryd began having seizures and suffered a stroke on April 11. During one of the seizures, his shoulder was shattered, causing even more agonizing pain. He had a complete reverse shoulder replacement on April 30. His post stroke outlook was great. No signs of ever having a stroke or seizures. The doctors were astonished, but Jerryd & Amanda knew it was all God. At a follow up appointment with his neurologist in mid August, Jerryd mentioned the horrible noise in his head that was getting louder & becoming painful. A MRI was done on August 24. Chaos ensued immediately after the results were known. A tumor was discovered and surgery was scheduled immediately. Even though there was no sign of a tumor on the multiple tests done in April, Jerryd now had a 1.5" x 2.5" glioblastoma. After surgery on August 31, the pathology report determined it is a Stage 4, extremely aggressive malignant tumor. On top of all this, Jerryd was diagnosed with Covid on September 15 and is very ill. Amanda has cared for Jerryd throughout.

This fund has been set up to help with travel expenses, possibly for treatment at Duke, and to offset lost income from his self-employment. The financial blessing will help decrease Jerryd's stress, which his doctors have said is crucial for healing.

Jerryd, who is the Pastor of Foutains of Liberty Church of God, has served God for 35 years. He and Amanda love God, have 1 daughter & 2 grandchildren. They are a blessing to all that know them. Now it is our turn to bless them financially if possible, but definitely with our prayers.
