In 2017 Our Dad, Gary was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Our lives were forever changed in that year. We have been through gut wrenching emotions and prayed on what options there are available with this disease as there is no cure for it. After many appointments, tests, and prayers, our Dad was put on the lung transplant list in June of this year at UAB in Birmingham AL. He was called up to UAB this past Friday and received a lung transplant on Saturday. As a family, we thank you for all your prayers and support through this journey with us. With the travel, hotels, and expenses of this journey, we would like to reach out for help for our parents. We want to take some of the financial burden off of them, anything would be appreciated. Dad has been out of work most of the time and lost clients in the last two years due to Covid and his health. They will have to stay up there for 3 months to be close to the hospital.
