Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We, the Upper Room Prayer Team, are reaching out with a special request: we need your support to provide our beloved Sister Belinda with a vehicle and a work laptop. Let us share why this means so much.
Belinda has been a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for many years, faithfully serving God and her community. She works hard at a local shop, earns a modest income, and has been sharing rooms with fellow church members.
Despite not having a vehicle, Belinda joyfully dedicates herself to ministry! Every Sabbath, she volunteers backstage at Granite Bay Hilltop Church, serves in the Upper Room prayer ministry, and actively participates in Bible studies, visitations, and outreach activities. She goes above and beyond for God's work, yet getting to these commitments is often a struggle.
Seeing her dedication, the Lord has placed a burden on our hearts to help meet this practical need. The Bible reminds us:
"But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?"
(1 John 3:17, NKJV)
As believers, we don’t just pray for one another—we take action in love! Sister White wrote:
"True charity is not merely almsgiving, but that sympathy and love which manifests itself in kindly acts and earnest effort to uplift and assist others."
(Welfare Ministry, p. 29)
Here’s the plan: Belinda is unaware of this fundraiser—we want to surprise her once we raise enough for a work laptop (for her service in church media) and a vehicle (to support her ministry and daily needs). Can you imagine the joy on her face when she sees how her family in Christ has come together to bless her in this way?
We invite you to prayerfully consider how the Lord may lead you to give.
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
(Luke 6:38, NKJV)
Your generosity, guided by the Holy Spirit, will make a lasting impact. Thank you for your prayers, love, and support. May the Lord bless you abundantly for your faithfulness in helping others!
In Christ’s service,
The Upper Room Prayer Team
