Blerond Maraj është një 12-vjeçar nga Peja, i cili prej vitesh po lufton me epilepsinë dhe një sëmundje të rëndë neurologjike.

Ai ka kaluar disa operacione në tru dhe vazhdon të ketë nevojë për trajtim të specializuar në Turqi. Fatkeqësisht, familja e tij nuk ka mundësi financiare për të përballuar kostot e trajtimit, udhëtimit dhe qëndrimit.

Help Blerond Continue His Fight for Life ❤️

Blerond is a true little warrior.

He has been fighting for his life since he was only two years old. While other children were enjoying their childhood, Blerond was facing hospitals, surgeries, and a severe form of epilepsy that changed his life forever.

Despite everything he has been through, he never gives up.

Over the years, Blerond has undergone multiple brain surgeries in Turkey. Doctors implanted a Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS), a life-changing medical device that helps control his epileptic seizures. This treatment has given him hope, but his battle is far from over.

To keep the VNS working properly and monitor his condition, Blerond must travel to Turkey at least three times every year for routine medical check-ups and adjustments. Each visit costs approximately €4,500, not including flights, accommodation, medications, and other travel expenses.

For most families, this would be difficult. For Blerond's family, it feels impossible.

No parent should ever have to wonder if they can afford the treatment that keeps their child alive.
