Hello! My name is Samantha and I'm reaching out to ask for help with my 2 cats Blanco and Charlie's medical bills. I've had my sweet boys since 2012 since they were kittens. I was gifted Blanco, by my uncle, after being found in an old ac unit outside. Charlie found me as he ran towards me in a random parking lot while I was walking back home one night. Both are very friendly and loving cats that I can't even imagine how my life would be without them.

As is life, they have both developed health issues together suddenly and needed attention. Charlie had a swollen cheek that I had hoped was a bad bug bite. In actuality, he had developed an infected mouth abscess and resulted in him needing to remove teeth to insure it would heal and, hoping, it won't return. Thankfully Charlie was able to have his surgery done and is currently healing right now and doing well. Charlie's issues were thankfully easier to get done without complications. I can't say the same for Blanco.

Blanco had developed a small lump on his head that gradually grew in size rapidly. It had got to the point that the lump had ruptured and resulted in a permanent open wound on his head. Even in my panic and fear, Blanco stays the calm and loving cat he has always been. Even with an open wound on his head his personality hasn't changed and continues to be active. At his vet appointment I was hoping it would be an easy removal but sad to say that isn't how things go. Blanco has a heart murmur that can cause complications during surgery and, before I'm able to even talk about surgery procedures with his doctor, he needs to be checked by a cardiologist to ensure he will be safe.

All that said, I'm asking for help with both of their medical bills. Charlie is thankfully done with his surgery and only needs a follow up appointment that will hopefully be the last until a yearly check up. For Blanco, I have estimates to understand how much his EKGs and surgery will cost. I've sadly had to ask for help with credit from my family after maxing out my own credit for just half of Blanco's vet cost. I hate the idea of keeping my family in debt because I didn't have enough to pay it myself. Sadly I am only able to afford the cardiologist appointment and need help to afford the surgery to remove his lump as soon as possible to avoid infection and further complications. I would deeply appreciate any support anyone can provide to repay my family for their help for Charlie's surgery and Blanco's future surgery!
