My name is Isabel and this is my goddaughter, Blakley. She’s 5 months old and has been in and out of the hospital for the past 2.5 weeks. I set up this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friends Alexis and Enrique in hopes to take some stress off of them. This is their current position from Alexis’ eyes:

Our daughter was in the hospital from 10/02/25-10/06/2025. This all started with her having a rash at her brother's football game. It got ruled out as eczema and I was given a cream for her and sent home. The next day, Blakley spiked a fever of 103.7. We then rushed her to the hospital where they couldn’t find the reason why she was running such a high fever.

They have ruled out viral infections and bacterial infections. They even did a blood culture and feces culture and even did a urine sample. She also got a chest x-ray and ultrasound done. Every test she has taken was all negative.

Her labs came back abnormal with her WBC being very low as well as other abnormal labs. They finally started getting a little bit better so after day 5 of being in the hospital, Blakley was released.

Fast forward, Blakley went back to the hospital on 10/15/25 due to spiking another fever of 102.7. They ran multiple tests again and this time she tested positive for a virus that she originally tested negative for, so they sent us home again advising to continue Tylenol. On this day, 10/17/25, we found out Blakley has a bacterial infection so we are currently at Arnold Palmer for further testing.

Asking for funds is a big ask, we don’t expect it, but anything will help us at this point. If you can’t or don’t feel comfortable donating, please say a prayer for us and our daughter instead. With me being out of work entirely through all of this, it would take a lot of stress off of us financially if we raised even a little bit.
