UPDATE ON BLAKE:

First and foremost, we want to say thank you to every single person who donated, shared, prayed, attended fundraisers, and supported Blake and the Posey family throughout this journey. Because of your incredible generosity, we not only reached our fundraising goal, we were able to make Blake's final wish come true by helping him meet Forrest Frank. It was a truly unforgettable experience that brought so much joy to Blake and his family, and we will be forever grateful to everyone who made that possible.

Since then, Blake's health has unfortunately taken a significant turn. He has been readmitted to the hospital after his implanted defibrillator shocked him more than five times due to ongoing heart complications.

After meeting with his medical team, the Posey family received difficult news that the experimental medications Blake had been receiving have not been effective for his condition. At this time, he has one remaining treatment option that offers hope but also carries significant risks and potential side effects.

Despite everything he is facing, Blake continues to fight with remarkable strength and is doing his best to stay positive. His courage and resilience continue to inspire everyone around him.

While we have achieved our original fundraising goal, the journey is far from over. Moving forward, all donations will help ease the financial burden of mounting medical expenses and provide support for any accommodations, travel, and other unforeseen needs the Posey family may face during this challenging time.

If you've ever had the privilege of meeting Blake, you know that he has a way of making everyone around him smile.

Blake is 19 years old and has courageously battled muscular dystrophy the majority of his life. At just 8 years old, Blake and two of his brothers, Brandon and Dylan, were lovingly adopted from foster care by Brandi and Barry, who have given them a home filled with unconditional love, support, and family.

Today, Blake is facing the hardest battle of his life. He is currently in heart failure, and while we don't know how much time we have left with him, we do know one thing: every remaining moment is precious.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Blake has never allowed his circumstances to define him. He is full of joy, kindness, laughter, and a strength that inspires everyone who knows him. Even on his hardest days, Blake continues to smile, encourage others, and spread a contagious joy that is nothing short of remarkable.

Blake has one special wish, to see Forrest Frank perform live in concert.

Our hope is to make that dream a reality by sending Blake and his family to Austin, Texas, so they can experience this unforgettable concert together while creating memories they will cherish forever.
