Help Blake’s Family Lay Him To Rest

Hi my name is Kathleen Corps. On January 29th my step son Blake Campbell was in the Ogemaw County Jail when at 20 years old he suddenly went into cardiac arrest and collapsed to the floor. Life saving efforts were made and medical personnel were able to get Blake’s heart to start again. He was transferred to the ICU in Midland, MI where he currently is. Blake has yet to wake up and his family is waiting to know the extent of the damage the sudden cardiac arrest has done to his brain. The cause of his heart attack is still unknown. Blake is loved by all and despite making some mistakes in his young adult life still has his whole life ahead of him. Blake’s mom Jen lives in Struthers, Ohio and has to drive 5 hours one way to be with her son. With limited child care for her other young children she has to bring her entire family with her to Michigan. She is the sole income provider in her home. This fundraiser is to help cover her travel expenses including gas, food for herself and her children, and hotel as well as cover some of her lost wages from taking time off of work to be with Blake.
