Hi, my name is Blake. I have the opportunity to go on a school trip to Washington, D.C. this October, and I’m really excited about it. This trip means a lot to me because I’ll get to see important places like the Capitol, the Washington Monument, and other historic sites that I’ve only learned about in school. I think it will help me understand history in a real way instead of just reading about it. I’m working to raise money to help pay for the trip, including travel, hotel, and other costs. Every donation helps me get closer to going.

As Blake’s parents, this opportunity means a lot to us because it’s more than just a school trip. It’s a chance for him to experience history in a way that goes far beyond the classroom.
