Update: Blake is home and we are finding more and more things he needs for the house with his changes he is learning to get around. He is set up with a hospital bed in the living room right now. He has a home nurse that comes out for his wounds. Thank you everyone that has helped so far. We still have a lot to go. Update: Blake is still in the hospital and he is getting PT and OT right now. They are saying he should be able to come home in a couple of weeks. We are still a long way to our goal. Anything will help. Please share.

This is Blake Alexander. He grew up in Sunnyland, IL and is still here. He has had a lot of medical issues for the past 3 years, from cancer to artery disease. He has been in the hospital a little over a month and is now in long-term rehab. He had to have a double amputation on his legs. The bills are going up day after day. Between medical bills and needing a vehicle that is wheelchair accessible, plus modifying the house, it's too much.

We have applied for several different agencies to help, but it doesn't take care of everything that is needed. We were going to do a benefit to try to help raise money but don't know what all would need to be done. If anyone can help, that would be awesome. We are still paying on medical bills from 2023 when he had 3 surgeries. One was for cancer. Please share to help us get this out even if you're not able to help.

He has good days and bad days with losing his legs. He has had 5 surgeries since Jan 17 this year and will have to go to Springfield, IL for one more. Anything will help.
