Help Blaine with Top Surgery!

Howdy y’all! My name is Blaine and I’m getting top surgery in May! I’m so excited to finally feel at home in my body. If you know anything about me, you know that I am not good at asking for help when I need it but I’m trying to get over that fear.

Unfortunately, this procedure is not covered by insurance and I’m paying entirely out of pocket for it. But what I really need help with right now are the extra expenses that come along with the surgery.

I’m traveling out of state. I will need to stay in the city for at least a week for post-op recovery and any other appointments before returning home. I will also need supplies like compression vests, special sleeping pillows, seatbelt vests, etc. I plan on “paying it forward” with all of those items to someone else in need of them once I’ve recovered.

If funds go beyond the goal, they will go towards the actual surgery itself. I don’t plan on trying to raise the entire cost but it would be nice to have less of a financial burden from it.
