Help Blade survive!

Hi, as you all know we rescued Blade in September last year. Shortly after, it became clear he suffered from a heart condition called Pericardial Effusion. This is where Blades chest cavity fills with fluid, resulting in pressure on his heart thus resulting in him slowly suffocating unless he has regular chest draining. To date, Blade has had 4 chest drains, which cause him distress. We have insurance for Blade however they will only fund up to £1500 per condition - this was reached last time he had his chest drained. We have also paid out hundreds of pounds ourselves to try to keep him alive. We have now been told the only chance of Blades survival is to have open chest surgery where the pericardial sac surrounding Blades heart will be removed enabling the heart to beat normally. Without this, Blade will die-and sooner rather than later. We desperately need to raise funds for Blade to have the operation by a specialist. It costs nearly £4,000 and we asking for as much help as possible as we know we cannot raise £4,000 in such a short space of time. We are grateful for every £1 donated to help our big boy Blade.
