Hi, my name is Joan and I’m a black trans fem. I’m currently working two jobs in order to afford living by myself on a super tight budget. This means I can’t really save much money to put towards gender affirming care, and for the past couple years my gender dysphoria has got increasingly bad. At points I’ve felt completely hopeless about my transition, feeling as if I will always be trapped looking like a man. This affects my mental health greatly and has at times pushed me to some very dark places and it has hard because I do not have a lot of local community support. I’m asking for funding to go towards my facial feminisation.

I will be trying to save some of my own funds as well, so the funds raised here will go to towards the total rather than being the sole amount. Any support, even a share, would be greatly appreciated.
