Help Black Owned Businesses of Rochester Recover!
The people of Rochester need to come together to help businesses recover from the looting that took place on May 30 2020. We understand the pain and anguish black people have endured for centuries, but we also need to help our community build back up. These people worked extremely hard to rise above stereotypes and systemic racism to be able to get their businesses up and running.
Ridgeway Liquor owned by Charlecia Burgess
Queen Sheeba Liquor Store owned by Mimi Schumye
Abby’s Jewelry owned by Geland Colon
The misguided actions of some have left black families unable to provide for their families. Black money is power. We can rise above this and help our people re-build what they worked so hard to establish.
