Help Black Female Grad. Student Unjustly Dismissed

Donation protected
My situation is imminently dire.

With the eviction moratorium now lapsed, I face impending eviction and homelessness. My current home is the only place I feel safe.

My name is Robbin and I am a Black woman and former graduate student at a leading School of Public Health (SPH). I was wrongfully dismissed after reporting multiple instances of sexual violence, including stalking by a still-employed SPH dean. Instead of helping me, school and university administrators gaslighted me, discredited me, and destroyed all employment opportunities I worked hard to attain. The racial through-line of SPH’s actions remains self-evident.

At the time of my wrongful dismissal, I was preparing for time-sensitive work opportunities and nearing the completion of my Ph.D. As a result, I have been barred from finishing my degree and experience ongoing trauma, all while trying to advocate for myself. Wholly dependent upon the SPH for fulfilling my basic human needs, my efforts to meet them prior to my dismissal were sabotaged by administrators. Led by the SPH Dean, they understood that my dismissal left me with no means to support myself.

I have not been able to find stable work and continue to struggle to meet my basic human needs.

I am urgently asking that you support me as I fight back against my wrongful dismissal. Any assistance, even just a few dollars, will go a long way toward helping me attain needed housing stability so that I can begin the process of securing legal representation.

All donations will go toward my basic needs, including:

·        Rent
·        Food and other necessities
·        Glasses and Computer
·        Very high medical bills
·        Outstanding student loans
