Our sweet Great Pyrenees, Bjorn, went missing from his kennel on Saturday. After hours of searching, he finally made his way back home — but something was terribly wrong. When I reached him, I realized he had been shot with a shotgun. I rushed him to Morgan Emergency Vet in Coos Bay, where the veterinarians discovered more than 30 pellets throughout his body. Bjorn was in shock, bleeding internally, and fighting to stay stable. Thanks to the incredible care he received overnight, the vet believes he can recover — but he will need ongoing medical treatment, monitoring, and follow-up care to make that possible.

The costs for emergency care, continued treatment, and recovery support are more than I can manage alone. I’m creating this GoFundMe to help cover Bjorn’s emergency vet bills, ongoing medical care and follow-up appointments, medication and recovery supplies, and repairs and improvements to his kennel so this never happens again.

Bjorn is a gentle, loving dog who didn’t deserve what happened to him. Every donation, no matter the size, helps give him the chance to heal and return to the happy, safe life he deserves.
