Hi, my name is Joel Hardy, and this is my best friend, Bjorn.

Bjorn is turning 5 this month, but instead of celebrating his birthday with joy, we’ve been faced with heartbreaking news: he has been diagnosed with cancer in his spinal cord.

Bjorn is not just a dog—he’s family. From the moment I brought him home at just 7 weeks old, he has been by my side and helped me through my lowest moments. He is the kindest, most patient, and most loving soul you could ever meet.

Now, he’s also my son Harlan’s best friend. The bond they share is something truly special—Harlan adores him. And with another baby boy, Cassian, due in just a few months, it breaks my heart to think that Bjorn might never get the chance to meet him.

The surgery, MRI scans, and the rehab Bjorn needs to fight this battle will cost around $15,000. It’s an overwhelming amount, but I can’t imagine not trying everything possible to give him the chance he deserves.
