As many of you know, my brother BJ has three dogs who are more than just pets—they are his family. Each one has their own story: the first was taken in after being abandoned, the second was rehomed from a friend, and Briar, the youngest, was adopted this winter. BJ has always gone above and beyond to give these dogs a loving home.

Recently, Briar suffered a serious injury and broke his ankle. The news has been devastating for BJ, who would do anything to help his beloved dogs. The cost of Briar’s surgery is overwhelming, and while BJ is not someone who would ever ask for help, this situation is more than he can handle alone. Dr. Jim, one of the best veterinarians around, has quoted the surgery at a significant amount, and every bit of support will make a difference.
