Hi, all. I am Kenny Robertson, the furdad of Bitsy who is in the pictures that you're seeing now. On April 28, she jumped out of o the car on the highway at US 380 while she was doing her usual dog thing (hanging her head out of the window for air, something every dog enjoys) and she was strapped on to her leash when it happened. Luckily, brakes were applied within seconds and there was no car behind when it happened so she basically skated on her paws and belly for a good few seconds while the car was dragging her out of her leash on the window. She was bleeding heavily when my wife picked her up and was just happy that she was alive. We thought she just had abrasions but once her adrenalin wore out, she could barely stand or walk. She had no insurance and we're in a tight spot financially so we can't afford all of the estimated vet fees it will cost to get her treated. She hasn't pooped or peed for the last 24 hours. We feed her and help her drink thru a syringe to which she's responding well. I myself had just gone thru a medical emergency, but I can't look at my poor puppy suffering and we can't do nothing about it. We just need some help with funds so we can bring her to a pet hospital, we're totally exhausted right now cause we spent heavily on my medical emergency last April 25. Hoping you can help a bit.
