Help Bistro Gambrinus recover from a break-in

A beloved neighborhood bistro was broken into for the second time in two years. The glass doors were shattered, and the security system was down due to an internet outage, leaving the owner, Nael Al Shayeb to pick up the pieces. Like many small business owners in San Francisco, Nael is doing everything he can to keep his business afloat in an unforgiving city and has concerns about staying in the city due to increased crime rates.

When the city was doing repairs on Fulton, they removed Nael's Parklet he built during the pandemic and returned it to him in shambles. Again leaving Nael to literally, pick up the pieces and start over.

Since Nael took over Gambrinus in 2013, its been a community space for residents and students alike to gather, watch the Warriors and enjoy delicious wings, kabobs, and a cold pint. The walls are covered in San Francisco pride as you see flags, jerseys, and posters from our University of San Francisco and our hometown teams.

We want to show Nael he has the support of the community and help keep Bistro Gambrinus here. All proceeds will go to Nael to help increase security at the restaurant, replace the loss of profits due to the break-in, help keep employees on the payroll, rebuild the parklet and add some personal touches to the establishment.
