Help Bishop Find Safety in Canada

Hi, I'm Bishop. And on January 20th, I became one of millions that had their lives changed by the incoming Trump administration. I'm a Queer AFAB American and in the month since the inauguration, it has become obvious that I am running out of time to get somewhere safe. I have been engaged since October of 2023 to a wonderful man by the name of Felmire. He lives in Canada and he agrees that it is beyond time for me to leave and go right to him. The date we have for me to get out of the US is mid-May, as that is when my lease is up and it would be easiest for me to leave. To account for the fact that our original timeline has been blown out of the water by the political changes in the US, I am asking others for support to cover the financial aspect of leaving.

Breakdown of Requirements to Leave:

Passport: $262 USD (Expedited Service + 2 Day Shipping)

Flight: $600 - $1500 USD (Accounting for when I am able to book this)

Visitor Record Renewal + Biometrics: $185 CAD (This will allow me to maintain my place in the country)

I'm starting the Gofundme at $2500 so that I will be able to have some spare funds incase the situation deteriorates even more and we have to bump my leave date, as I will have to payout an extra month of my lease to break it before May.
