Biscuit, our 7-month-old kitten, recently went through a scary and unexpected emergency. He ate something he wasn’t supposed to, which led to a blockage in his intestines. We had to rush him in for emergency surgery to save his life. It was a stressful and emotional experience, and we’re so grateful he’s on the road to recovery now. Watching Biscuit go through this ordeal was heartbreaking, and we did everything we could to make sure he got the care he needed.

This situation has been especially tough because my husband and I just moved to the area after finishing college. We’re still getting our footing and don’t have extra money set aside for emergencies like this. The cost of the surgery and follow-up care has been a huge financial strain on us, but we would never let Biscuit suffer or go without the help he needs.
