Biscuit is a pure Lab Retriever rescue dog that we took home three months ago. She came from a very difficult background—she was severely abused and used mainly as a breeder, even giving birth by C-section. Because of this, Biscuit has suffered from a lack of calcium, making her bones fragile and prone to injury. Today, she broke both bones in her left foot. The vet told us her bones are out of alignment and recommended surgery to correct the issue. Unfortunately, we are unable to afford the cost of this surgery on our own.

Biscuit has always been a loving and gentle soul, despite everything she’s been through. Today, she didn’t eat, poop, or pee—something that has never happened before. It’s clear she is in pain, and we are deeply concerned about her health and well-being. We want nothing more than to see her happy, healthy, and able to run and play like any other dog.
