Birdie is my sister’s beloved dog, and she’s truly part of the family. Recently, Birdie faced a heartbreaking challenge: she has a degenerative disease in her leg, and after an accident, she broke it. When my sister took her to the vet, she was given two difficult choices—either put Birdie down or amputate her leg. As you can imagine, this has been an emotional and overwhelming time for my sister, who loves Birdie dearly and wants to give her the best chance at a happy life.

We’re starting this fundraiser to help cover the costs of Birdie’s surgery and the aftercare she’ll need to recover and adjust. The funds raised will go directly toward her medical expenses, giving Birdie a second chance to keep living her joyful, loving life. She’s such a sweet dog, full of energy and affection, and she means the world to my sister—her fur baby child.
