Help Bird Le'au Create Circus Phantasma

Hello and thank you so much for checking out my page. My name is Bird Le'au and I'm crowdsourcing for my college thesis project called "Circus Phantasma". It's a musical that I am fully writing, directing, producing and making costumes, wigs, puppets and props for all on my own. This is a very time consuming project, but one that I've poured my blood, sweat, tears and soul into. I have such big dreams for this project and I'll need all the financial help I can get.

In the past three years being in college, I've worked my butt off. I maintained a 3.8 GPA and consistently been on the Dean's List, while also working 3 jobs and picking up odds and end work as it's came my way. I've worked my way through my college experience. It was truly a team effort with my family and me to even afford a school as expensive as NYU. Now, in my final year with my thesis coming up, I need your help.

"Circus Phantasma" is a show similar to "Alice by Heart", "Into the Woods" or "In the Green". It follows a young girl named Lady who finds herself lost in front of an abandoned circus. The ring master who is creepy yet spookily inviting, leads her into the circus where she meets the contortionist, the tight-wire artist, a clown named "Binky" and the animal wrangler with all of his animals. (The animals in this show are played by puppeteers. Think of the Broadway version of "The Lion King" with their masks and big head pieces). Can Lady escape this haunted circus or will she be locked away forever in this purgatory? Come watch the show for more!

Most of the cost of this production comes in the costumes, sets and props. I will be making a majority of these things by hand, which is where you come in! I need help in affording materials for costumes, sets and the puppets that will be involved.
