Binx is my sister’s tripod cat, and he’s been a source of joy and comfort since she rescued him. His playful curiosity is one of his most endearing qualities, but sometimes it gets him into trouble. Recently, Binx’s curiosity led him to swallow a rubber bit from his can food cover. This quickly turned into a medical emergency, and he had to be rushed to Sploot Veterinary Care for emergency surgery. The experience was frightening for all of us, but especially for my sister. The cost of the surgery was a huge financial burden for her to carry alone.

The funds raised through this campaign will help my sister recover from the financial impact of Binx’s emergency surgery and ensure he receives the follow-up care he needs to heal fully. Our family has always believed in giving back—we rescue pets from shelters and donate to animal rescues whenever we can. Right now, we’re facing some hardships, and we would be eternally grateful to anyone willing to help out my sister and Binx.
