Hi everyone,
If you know me or Timothy, you know that we hate asking for any kind of help or handout but at this point we're desperate.
My sweet girl, Binx is 9 years old and has been such a huge part of my life. I adopted her in my early twenties when I needed someone the most and she quickly became my world. She’s not just a pet, she’s my baby and I would be completely lost without her. Anyone who’s met her knows how gentle, loving, and special she is. I often get told she is the sweetest and most loving cat people have ever met. She's adored by so many. She’s been by my side through so much and deserves the best of the best.
For a while now, Binx has been struggling with recurring ear infections that just won’t go away. We're talking odor, oozing, and pain with the infection that wouldn't go fade no matter how many medications she's on. After multiple vet visits, we finally got an answer to the source; an ear polyp that’s causing constant pain and inflammation of her ear canal. The only way to truly fix this and give her relief is surgery to remove it. To top it off she was diagnosed with a low-grade heart murmur which can cause complications and would require a bit more testing before surgery can occur.
Watching her be uncomfortable and in pain has been heartbreaking, knowing I can't offer her any relief beyond the meds she's already on. As a cat that had a rough start in life being born in a shelter and a sickness that cause her to lose most of her sight in one eye, she deserves to live pain-free and happy. Right now though the cost of the surgery and post-op care is more than my husband and I can manage on our own right now.
That’s why we're asking for help.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward:
• Her surgery to remove the ear polyp
• Testing for her heart murmur to get clearance for surgery
• Follow up Vet visits and medications
• Aftercare to ensure she heals properly
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this means just as much. Truly.
Binx has given us years of unconditional love, and I just want to give her the chance to live the rest of her life without pain.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give—it means the world to both of us.
