Update – 11/26/2025
We want to sincerely thank everyone who donated and supported us during this difficult time. Your kindness and love meant more than we can ever express.
We have decided to close Binx’s GoFundMe. Sadly, Binx did not make it. After his cardiac arrest, he suffered irreversible brain damage and was no longer able to breathe on his own. On 11/20/2025, we made the heartbreaking decision to let him rest peacefully.
Thank you again for all your love, support, and compassion. It truly helped us through this incredibly hard moment.
— Joe & Kyra
Hello, this is Joe and Kyra. We’re lifelong animal lovers with a big furry family of three dogs and four cats. Today, we’re reaching out to all fellow animal lovers for help.
Our sweet boy Binx — a gentle, loving, 2-year-old all-black cat — suddenly developed a severe bladder infection that led to cardiac arrest. He was without a heartbeat for two minutes before the veterinary team brought him back. He is now on a ventilator fighting for his life.
Binx is the heart of our home. He loves his sisters, follows us around the house, and brings so much warmth to everyone he meets. Seeing him like this is heartbreaking, but we are doing everything we can to give him a chance to recover.
The estimated cost for his critical care and recovery is between $10,000 and $15,000. Any amount — even $1 — truly helps and brings us one step closer to bringing Binx home.
Please help us save our boy Binx. Your support means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
