Help Binx fight FIP
Binx was diagnosed with FIP on March 20th. Feline Infectious Peritonitis is a disease that can occur in cats and is typically fatal. I noticed he wasn't eating and he was sleeping all day so i took him to the vet. When she told me that he had FIP, we were both crying as she told me there was no cure. I couldn't fathom the thought of losing him. I knew there had to be something out there to save him. We thankfully found hope through the Facebook group FIP warriors.
We were thrilled to hear that there was a treatment that could potentially save his life. The treatment requires 84 days of injections and is not cheap. We were able to get about 5 days out of each vial but we were told since his globulin levels haven't improved, we would have to double the dosage. This resulted in going through a vial about every 2 days. Each vial costs $140.
We are little more than half way through his treatment and he has responded extremely well. His appetite has gone way up and his energy levels are higher than ever.
I understand with Covid-19 pandemic going on right now that it's a difficult time for everyone but no amount is too small. Every little bit counts.
Binx means the world to me and I'm extremely thankful to have found a treatment that is saving him. I'm giving him a fighting chance and the donations are going towards his treatments.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering a donation. If you are unable to donate please share to spread the word about this awful disease.
