Help Binx Breathe Again: Urgent Medical Care Needed

Hey everyone, Binx has a growth in her sinuses that’s now pressing into her eye, and every day we wait, her condition could get worse. I’m trying to give her a chance to breathe, to heal, and to live — but I can’t afford the care she urgently needs.
What Happened:  Over a month ago, Binx started having trouble breathing. She snored loudly while resting and sounded congested just trying to sleep. We took her to the vet, and they found a growth in the back of her sinuses. Now, it’s affecting her eye, and she’s visibly declining. She needs a CT scan, blood work, and a second rhinoscopy to find out whether the mass is a treatable polyp or something more serious like cancer. Without those answers, we can’t move forward — and she continues to suffer.
Why I’m Asking:  I’ve already spent over $2,000 trying to help her through her first round of testing and care. Just two days after her first vet visit for this, I lost my job, and it’s been incredibly hard to stay afloat. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t afford the next steps alone. This isn’t easy to ask, but I’m desperate to give Binx a fighting chance. She’s only 6 years old. She’s still cuddly, playful when she can breathe, and full of love — she just needs the chance to get better.
Who Binx Is: Binx has been my emotional support, my snuggle buddy, and my shadow for years. She curls up next to me when I’m anxious, follows me around the house, and brings me comfort in ways I can’t even explain. She’s not just a cat. She’s my lifeline.
Cost Breakdown:  The full estimate from our veterinary specialist is $4,609.42. Here’s what it includes: • Consultation & diagnostics • Anesthesia & sedation medications • CT scan with contrast & radiology planning • Second rhinoscopy + nasal biopsy • Lab work & tissue testing These procedures are essential to determine whether the growth in Binx’s sinuses is a treatable polyp or cancer, and to move forward with the right treatment plan. I’ve included a photo of the full estimate on this page for transparency.
How You Can Help: If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it truly helps us get closer to saving her. If you can’t donate, sharing this page also means the world. Please help me give Binx a second chance at life. A donation, a share — anything at all — brings us one step closer to healing. Thank you for reading, supporting, and caring.

Update:

After Binx’s bleeding worsened and we went to visit our primary they let us know that it is cancer. We’re now focused on keeping her comfortable and loved in her final days or weeks. All funds will go toward her euthanasia, cremation, and any final care to give her peace. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us so far
