Binta is my dear aunt, someone who is always happy and ready to help her community whenever she has the chance. She has touched many lives with her kindness and generosity, always putting others before herself. Now, she is facing a moment of deep loss after her son, Baba Kebe, passed away just two days ago. The family is heartbroken, and we want to honor his memory in a way that is meaningful to our faith and to Binta.

In Islam, performing Umrah is one of the five pillars, and it is required for those who are able. Sadly, Baba Kebe did not get the chance to fulfill this important act before he passed. It is a tradition in our faith that if someone dies before being able to perform Umrah, others can do it on their behalf. We want to help Binta travel to Mecca so she can perform Umrah for her son, bringing peace and blessings to his memory and comfort to her heart.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering Binta's travel expenses and the costs associated with performing Umrah.
