On Friday morning, our family’s world was turned upside down. My dad, Billy Ray Kelly, was severely injured in a tragic tree-trimming accident in Ohio. While working in a lift, he accidentally grabbed what he thought was a support cable, but it turned out to be a live power line. He suffered a severe electrical shock that caused major injuries to his right arm and other parts of his body.

He was airlifted by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital in critical condition. Since then, he’s undergone surgery, and we’ve learned that the damage was so severe that he is having another amputation surgery tomorrow. Our hearts are broken, but we’re incredibly grateful that he’s still with us.

Billy is a hard worker, whether it was helping a neighbor, family member, or coworker. Now he needs our help. The road to recovery will be long, with extensive hospital care, therapy, and adjustments to daily life as he learns to live with this life-changing injury.

We’re asking for donations to help cover medical bills, rehabilitation costs, travel expenses, and to help ease the financial strain as he focuses on healing. Any amount, big or small, means the world to us.
