Help Billy Butler's Dogs Recover

Hey guys, It's me, your pal Billy Butler.

I cannot even begin to believe I am writing you this note. Truly, as a person who prides himself on taking care of others, I have often come to you for donations for those in need, and I never dreamed that I would eventually become one of them.

Last week, out of the blue, my younger dog Eddie came down with a rare blood disorder and nearly died before he was given a blood transfusion and steroid treatment. He is doing better, and it seems like he'll make it. Still, his hospital stay and follow-up appointments Ive paid have totaled 8k, and usually, that alone would have wiped me out - until SOMEHOW, on Monday, my older dog Henry accidentally pulled a small table over onto himself and broke two bones in his hand. ALL WITHIN FIVE DAYS of each other. Both dogs had hosptial stays.

They wrapped Henry's hand and tried to get the bones to realign, but I just got word today that the middle bone will have to have a pin installed in it. The cost of his surgery is 5k, not to mention the continuous follow-ups they both get.

Henry cannot walk without his front leg, and he will never walk again without this surgery. I am not ready to put him down...so here I am with my hat in my hand. I'm embarrassed and humiliated but I need help on this situation. I am a single guy whose entire life revolves around his work and my pets. I take excellent care of them; they are my family. I humbly say that these last few days are not only breaking my heart but also having a horrible effect on me financially.

I realize that these fundraisers are a pain in the ass. We are all broke, and I certainly don't expect to raise all the money it will take to cover the cost of Henry's surgery, but after much prompting from friends, I throwing caution to the wind and am putting this out there so maybe I can be just a little less money wrecked over this situation.

Can you help me fix my dog's paw? If so, please toss a few sheckles in the jar.
