Help Billy and Penny Heal After Tragic Accident

Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of a terrible car accident that occurred on September 19th involving long-time residents of Lennox, Billy and Penny Poppenga. The couple, who were excitedly planning a day of fishing, never could have imagined that their day would end in such tragedy.

Billy was airlifted to Sanford Hospital and remains in critical condition with a severe brain bleed and collapsed lung. Penny was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and has undergone two surgeries for her own injuries, including severe bruising and broken bones.

Billy has always been known for his willingness to lend a helping hand, and now, it is our turn to extend our support to this loving couple as they face a long road to recovery.
