Help Billy and Katrina Through This Crisis

While away on vacation to celebrate their 22nd Wedding Anniversary Billy and Katrina have experienced the unimaginable.

Early Monday morning Katrina awoke to Billy suffering a cardiac arrest. He was placed on a ventilator and in to a hypothermic coma to allow his brain and body to rest and heal. It was Katrinas quick response to perform CPR and get emergency medical assistance that saved his life.

At the doctors and nursing staffs amazement, Billy woke up on Tuesday and began speaking! Although Katrina, family, and close friends are all in celebration of his miraculous turnaround- there is still a long road to recovery ahead. Billy’s condition currently remains critical, as the hospital staff is working on the best care plan, with a possibility of open heart surgery early next week. At this time, he is not well enough to be transported back to NY.

Katrina and family have been staying in hotels, in order to be close to him and participate in his care plan. Due to the seriousness of his condition, it is not possible for them to return home at this time.

Billy and Katrina have always gone above and beyond for both loved ones and strangers, including but not limited to opening their home to adopt their 3 rescue pups. Though the pups are being well cared for, it is still difficult for both of them to be away from their home and loved ones for an unforseeable amount of time.

Between testing, procedures, and building a care plan, there should be no worries reguarding financial hardship. However in these times, unfortunatly it can add stress to an already fragile situation. Any donations to help with hotel cost, and the upcoming medical expenses would be greatly appreciated.
