Hi everyone, my name is Billy and I'm currently fighting eviction because the Board of Social Services in Camden County, NJ unjustly terminated my housing assistance while I'm fighting for disability. The reason they used to terminate my housing assistance is because I have a service dog, Crash. He's 5 ½ years old and has been my best friend since he was a month old. They were told by a crackhead who moved out of the rooming house about 4 months ago that my dog bit him, which is a false allegation. My boy is a sweetheart, and I have plenty of character witnesses for him. But with no proof of said allegation, Social Services terminated my housing assistance.

Now my boy and I are facing homelessness due to unjust and biased decisions from Social Services. We are humbly asking for help with anything anyone can spare. With everything going on in the world, I am ashamed for having to ask. Yet I can't have my boy out in this freezing weather; we live in Camden, NJ. And I can't work due to physical and mental health reasons, hence fighting for SSI.

I am a 14 years sober recovering addict, and I help those who deal with addiction. But it's sad when you put nothing but good out in the universe and get kicked in the teeth. There's a saying, when everyone leans on you, who are you going to lean on? And sadly that's what I'm facing today. My eviction court date is February 20th, 2025, and God willing , if y'all could please help us out, we'd be eternally grateful. We love you all
