Help Billy and Barbara Hart Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire
On a quiet Thursday evening, tragedy struck the Hart family.
Billy and Barbara Hart, also known as Ghost and Tink in the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, residents of the Amherst community and beloved neighbors, lost their home in a sudden and catastrophic fire. Within minutes, the flames consumed everything—family heirlooms, cherished memories, and the place they called home for many years.
Thankfully, they escaped with their lives, but they now face the unimaginable: starting over from scratch.
Billy, a Marine and Army Veteran known for helping anyone in need, and Barbara, a former Lowe's employee, have always been the kind of people who give without asking for anything in return. Now, they need us.
They’re currently staying with relatives, but they have no clothes, no furniture, and no way to rebuild without support. Insurance will only cover a fraction of the costs, and the emotional toll is overwhelming.
This GoFundMe is a lifeline—to help them replace essentials, secure temporary housing, and begin the long journey of rebuilding their home and their lives. Every donation, no matter the size, brings hope. Let’s show Billy and Barbara that their kindness hasn’t gone unnoticed. Let’s help them rise from the ashes.
