Help Support Bill and His Family Through His Cancer Battle
My best friend Bill is facing the fight of his life. At just 42 years old, he has been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer known as Signet ring cell carcinoma. In May 2025, it began as what seemed like simple acid reflux. Over the following weeks, Bill had multiple visits with his PCP, followed by a short hospital stay in July as symptoms persisted. By the end of July, he had another week-long hospitalization. On August 17, he returned to the ER, where he underwent two major abdominal surgeries, which ultimately led to the cancer diagnosis. This news has completely rocked everyone who knows and loves him. Through it all, Bill is focused on his wife, Jenn, and their two children, Averie and Max. More than anything, he wants to make sure they are cared for as they navigate this difficult journey together.
I first knew Bill as an amazing son, great brother, and loyal friend growing up. Then Bill added to this by being a wonderful father and devoted husband. He has always been a hardworking and selfless person. He never stops putting his family and friends first. He would work two jobs to provide for them, and yet he still found the energy to help with after school clubs and activities. Throughout his life he has touched countless lives. You all might share this thought … He is not just my friend, he is family.
I dare you to ask anyone that knows Bill what they think of him. I know it will be met with “He is a great guy. Dude would do anything he could to help anyone.” Now it’s our turn to be there for him. He has been out of work for over four weeks with no discharge date and medical bills are not stopping. When home, his ability to work is questionable. His family is facing a huge financial strain. This fundraiser will help cover:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Household bills and daily living costs
Support for his wife and children, both during his treatment and beyond
Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to Jenn and their two kids. This will give Bill the peace of mind that his family is supported. It will give him comfort, stability, and love during this incredibly difficult time. It will allow him to focus on healing, getting better, and fighting this cancer! If you can’t donate, please share this page with anyone who may want to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
