Hello, I’m a father of 6 children. My name is Jerry Crawford. This is about my daughter Billie Jean Crawford. We are from the Bay Area in California. My children have had a tough go at this life.
My oldest daughter, Billie Jean, was taken at 14 and put on the streets. I couldn’t find her for years until cops found her in LA County. The same day my wife brought her home, my son, her older brother, was murdered. He was shot in the head by gang members while just driving by in his car. My oldest daughter is very strong though, and she ended up leaving California for a better life. She found a small town of about 3,500 on the coast of Washington. She was able to scrape up, save up, and buy her first trailer home at 19 all on her own. I’m so very proud of her!
In 2022, her sister, the next one closest in age, died from this fentanyl epidemic. My daughter, the oldest, still kept working and doing her best. Then she beat cancer last year! Last night she called me frantically: 'Dad, my house is on fire!' She watched as everything she’s ever worked for and all her siblings' pics, both alive and gone, burned before her eyes. Today she has nothing, not even a change of clothes. I’m desperately asking if you can find it in your heart to help us rebuild her life. She’s not spoiled, she’s not fancy, and a small single-wide used trailer would make her so happy and feel beyond blessed. As she didn’t have any type of insurance on her home. I thank you all who read this, and I love the ones that want to give even if you can’t. God bless you.
