Billie Jean is my beloved Pit Bull mix, and she’s been my constant companion since I rescued her from the Pennsylvania SPCA in 2019. When I first met her, she was skin and bones, having been found tied to a tree in North Philly. Since then, we’ve built a life together—just the two of us—and she’s become my world. I love her as a daughter and my days revolve around making sure she’s happy and healthy.
Recently, Billie Jean was diagnosed with a CCL strain in her back left leg. The veterinarian at Creature Comforts felt swelling in her knee and prescribed Carprofen for pain and inflammation. Unfortunately, after two weeks, she hasn’t improved and is even struggling more to walk and stand. The next step is to get her an X-ray to better understand her injury, but I simply can’t afford the cost on my own.
I’m reaching out for help so Billie Jean can get the care she needs. She deserves a pain-free, happy life after everything she’s been through. Any support you can give would mean the world to both of us. Thank you for reading our story and for considering a donation to help Billie Jean heal.
