Help Billi Heal Without Financial Stress

Many of you may know Billi personally and some of you are just hearing of her for the first time. Billi is a graduate of the school of hard knocks. If you have ever heard the term pull yourself up by your boot straps, that would give you an idea of the kind of resilience this gal has. She’s worked hard for herself and on herself. As her friend, I can attest to her willingness to put in the work. Unfortunately, the ability to provide for herself has been taken from her for the time being.

Billi had a UTI in March and took antibiotics that were intended to clear the infection. Recently she started having kidney pain. The pain became so overwhelming that she went to the ER. She was diagnosed with a “raging” kidney infection as a result of the UTI not being cured entirely. The ER did some labs and sent her home after some IV antibiotics. When the labs came back, she was diagnosed with ESLB from Ecoli.

The complications she is dealing with are that her kidneys are down to 35% function and there is only one type of antibiotic that cures this type of infection. She has to stay in the hospital for a minimum of 5 days while she is monitored by the infectious disease control to observe the effectiveness of the antibiotic.

Billi is terrified about how she will pay her bills after taking time off work to be cared for in the hospital…It should be mentioned that she could die, but the stress she feels about how she will pay bills if she survives is causing her so much stress that she is struggling to heal.

This shouldn’t be where her head is at. She is a hard worker and put tremendous effort towards creating stability for herself.

Let’s help Billi focus on healing by relieving the stress of the cost of living for the time she may be hospitalized and her recovery period.
