My friend Bill is one of the hardest-working people I know. For over 24 years, he worked as a union stagehand. Which is a physically demanding job that required lifting, climbing, bending, and long hours of labor. Unfortunately, years of strain combined with serious health conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ulcerative Colitis, sleep apnea, and chronic back pain have made it impossible for him to continue working.

To make things even harder, Bill has exhausted every financial avenue. His debit cards are maxed out, his insurance lapsed, and he was forced to stop the infusion treatments that were helping him manage his condition. Since then, his health has declined even more, leaving him unable to work at all.

Bill has applied for Social Security Disability (SSDI), but as many know, the approval process is painfully slow. In the meantime, he is left without steady income while still facing the cost of rent, utilities, food, and medical care. He has always been independent and dedicated to providing for his son, but right now, he needs our help.
