Please Help Bill get prosthetics so he can walk again
Donation protected
My name is Tracy. I started out as Bill's Home Care Nurse and ended up a friend. As you all know, Bill has had a rough couple of years. His legs were amputated below the knees on 10/25/23. Healing after the surgery has finally happened after numerous setbacks. Bill has worked so hard to get to this point
(sometimes he needed pushing!). Unfortunately, the cost of prostheses is much more than anticipated. Medicare covers most of it, but Bill is expected to pay $5296. Initially, we thought he could have payments withdrawn from his bank account to cover his cost. Unfortunately, he has to come up with his share before he can walk. Bill was not keen on this GoFundme idea. But I convinced him to let me try. Anything will help.
Bill a great guy that has overcome so many obstacles. If you know him, you know that he'll help anyone in anyway that he can. As many of you know, Bill sold his split-level home to build a one-level home which will be much better for him. Currently, he infrequently leaves home because it is very taxing. Bill has kept his positive attitude and sense of humor through all this. I know with the holidays upon us, it's a bad time to be asking for donations. If you can't donate, could you please share? Wouldn't it be amazing to watch Bill walk over the threshold of his new home?
- God Bless you all!
