Help Bill Vander Weele get on his feet
Donation protected
Bill Vander Weele stood as a pillar of the community. For over 30 years, Bill served as the editor of the local newspaper that chronicled the lives and events of the town's residents. From high school sports and church picnics to town council decisions and annual festivals, Bill captured the essence of Sidney with a thoughtful pen and a keen eye.
Bill could be seen at nearly every event, his camera and notebook always at the ready. He had a knack for finding the heart of each story, whether it was a young student's achievement, a local farmer's challenges, or a community triumph. His articles were more than just news; they were our reflection.
Bill recently struck a deer while working in Wolf Point, MT. On top of that he has had recent increased Medical expenses needed for daily living. At 63, he is still working a rather demanding job especially considering his current health condition. His current employer cannot offer health insurance and the bills are piling up.
Let’s give back to the man we could always count on to be there for us, our children’s events and our businesses in Sidney and surrounding areas over the years.
Thank you in advance and God Bless
