For over 50 years Pastor Bill Scales, his late father, and the Real Truth Team have been evangelizing, teaching, sharing and helping around the world. Pastor Scales has visited over 75 countries introducing people to Jesus and baptizing many thousands over his life time. We, Ben and Anita McGhee , have personally known Pastor Bill and Pat Scales for the last 15 years and often say, “we have never met a pastor like this.” Pastor Scales has dedicated his life to helping others. Now, this man of God that has dedicated his life to helping others needs our help!
Through the years, their home became affectionately known as “the Lord’s house by the side of the road.” It was not unusual to visit and find someone living with them that needed help. They didn’t have to know the individual personally, but recognizing the need, they willingly filled the gap. If someone he has baptized needed a place to stay, their doors were open. Truly an example of God’s love demonstrated.
Pastor Scales was hit especially hard during the financial crash of 2008. Their real estate holdings were totally depleted, but through it all, they have maintained their focus on helping others. He, along with his wife and caring friends took care of his aging parents until God laid them to rest. This is truly the gift of helps in action.
Pastor Scales has been diagnosed with rectal cancer. Using a combination of traditional and natural healing methods has caused another huge financial, physical and emotional drain on him and his wife. Pastor Scales is slowly improving, but the burdens are very heavy.
We all have been so very fortunate to have Pastor and Mrs. Scales in our lives and now we can step up and help them by making a donation.
Pastor Scales’ life has been one of faith. As my wife and I heard him speak of faith in God and expecting a miracle, we were impressed to take part in that miracle and invite you to join us. Our goal is to show appreciation: “Give him his flowers now.” We know that Pastor Scales has helped many persons in need. Now is our time to show him love and appreciation while he can see and smell the flowers.
