Help Bill Out This Christmas!

Earlier this year, we learned that Bill, a regular listener to The Bald Builders Breakfast, was facing incredibly difficult circumstances. His van had been broken into, his tools stolen, and he’d become homeless, forcing him to sleep in his van. The Fix Radio Foundation stepped in, providing a few nights in a hotel. Sadly, Bill’s situation worsened when the housing he was promised fell through, leaving him once again living in his van. This, combined with awaiting a cancer diagnosis, meant Bill faced a bleak Christmas.

Despite these hardships, we were amazed to discover that Bill was still trying to help others less fortunate, paying forward the support he’d received from the Fix Radio Foundation. We reached out to Bill again, and through the Fix Radio Foundation, provided him with £5,000 to help him get back on his feet and give him the best possible start to 2025. During an emotional conversation with Clive Holland, we shared this news. The response from our listeners and followers was overwhelming, with hundreds wanting to get involved and support Bill, making 2025 “The Year of Bill.”
