Bill has always had a passion for gardening, tending to his plants with the same care and dedication he shows his friends. Recently, his life took a devastating turn when he suffered a heart attack while on his boat. Thankfully, he was found in time and rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed a triple bypass surgery that saved his life. While Bill has been fighting to recover, the world outside hasn’t paused for him. The person he trusted to look after his boat let it get impounded, and the woman he left in charge of his finances betrayed him—draining his bank account, stopping rent payments, and even transferring his beloved Volvo convertible into her own name. Now, as Bill lies in a hospital bed, he faces the unimaginable: the risk of losing his apartment, his boat, his car, and his loyal dog Max. The main goal of this fundraiser is to keep Bill in his apartment so he has a safe place to return to when he’s well enough to leave the hospital. If we can, we’ll also help him reclaim his boat and find a reliable car so he can regain his independence. Bill has always been there for others, and now he needs our help more than ever.
